Luxury Master Bathroom & Custom Closet Remodel in Browns Point, Tacoma
Location
Tacoma, WA
Date
September 22, 2026
Project type
Master Bathroom
The Challenge:
Our clients in the beautiful Browns Point neighborhood of Tacoma were ready to completely transform their outdated master bathroom. The existing layout was cramped, inefficient, and no longer fit their daily routine. They needed a contractor capable of handling a full demolition, executing complex structural reframing, and delivering a high-end, custom design that maximized their square footage.
The Fusion Builders Solution:
We started by taking the entire space down to the studs, completely reimagining the floor plan to create a true master suite retreat. By reframing the interior walls, we optimized the flow and carved out the necessary space for two massive upgrades: a sprawling custom walk-in shower and a dedicated, spacious walk-in closet.
To deliver the "Premium but Approachable" finish Fusion Builders is known for, we installed elegant, highly durable tile flooring throughout the space. We then created a striking focal point by building a floor-to-ceiling tiled vanity accent wall, serving as a beautiful, modern backdrop for the custom cabinetry and plumbing fixtures. The result is an incredible sanctuary that perfectly blends luxury aesthetics with everyday functionality.
Key Project Features:
Complete Layout Reconfiguration: Full demolition and structural reframing to entirely optimize the master suite floor plan.
Custom Walk-In Shower: Designed and built a massive, spa-like walk-in shower with premium tile work from floor to ceiling.
Spacious Walk-In Closet: Framed and integrated a brand-new, custom walk-in closet to maximize storage and organization.
High-End Tile Finishes: Installed premium tile flooring and a stunning, custom floor-to-ceiling tiled vanity wall.
"By rethinking the entire footprint, we were able to turn an outdated, cramped bathroom into a custom luxury retreat. This is exactly how you significantly increase both your daily comfort and your home's long-term equity."
